This is a group of women of various ages, who are trained in Reiki* and at various stages of their healing journey with cancer, to come together once a month for 2 hours to support each other on their healing journey. The intention for this healing circle is to be uplifting, life affirming, supportive and healing; working with affirmations, guided imagery and sharing Reiki with each other. The group is facilitated by licensed psychotherapist and Reiki Master Teacher Ulrike Dettling. The group format is:
· to begin, a guided visualization to enhance relaxation and healing,
· then a 5 min. per person check-in,
· then each woman has 20 min. to either share and be listened to, or receive feedback and encouragement on request, or to receive a group Reiki treatment

The number of participants is limited to 4 - 5 women to allow ample time for sharing and giving and receiving Reiki. Group members commit to meeting for 5 sessions and then can either renew their commitment for another five sessions or leave the group, and the group can then accept new members.
The group is held once a month at the offices of Arlington Reiki Associates on 366 Mass Ave #304 in Arlington. Fee per person for 2 hr session: $35.00

Participants interested in the group, but not yet trained in Reiki, don't need to let this get in their way.
